Synthetic Aperture Radar Instructor, Mid

Key Role:

Develop and deliver Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) training to live audiences. Provide stand-up classroom and virtual instruction. Apply and understand specific SAR phenomenology, documented recent analytical experience, and working and general industry knowledge. Develop and contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, as well as insight into future SAR products and capabilities. Work independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees. This position will require travel within and outside the US, when necessary to accommodate client needs and is located in Springfield, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with instruction, training, or analysis
  • Experience in working with or instructing synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
  • Experience in GEOINT analysis with a focus on multiple sensors and their capabilities
  • Ability to instruct classroom sizes of 20+ students both in person and virtually
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to instruct classes 1-2 weeks at a time
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience as an instructor, trainer, or analyst in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with DIVA and Sarmulator
  • Experience with RemoteView or SOCET GXP
  • Experience with Mensuration Services Program (MSP)
