The Opportunity:

As a cyber professional, you know that understanding adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is vital to producing the intel that enables the success of United States Marine Corps. As a cyber threat specialist on our team, you’ll help customers solve problems using the latest software like Advana, Splunk, Carbon Black, Tenable, EDR tools, and MYSP. Using penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and threat monitoring, you’ll work alongside multiple stakeholders to evaluate risk and make meaningful recommendations.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a matrix product team environment
  • 2+ years of experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) OR ISSO
  • 2+ years of experience with performing risk and vulnerability assessments for Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • 2+ years of experience implementing cybersecurity in accordance with DoDI 8500.01, Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and cyber security solutions
  • 1 year of experience developing, managing, and reporting on a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
  • Secret clearance
  • HS Diploma or GED
  • 8570 certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience developing, updating, and executing Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and easily with other teams
  • Ability to communicate abstract and complex concepts to others
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • IAT Level II certification
  • Navy Qualified Validator certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
