Naval IT Project Specialist

The Opportunity:  

As a Naval IT Project Specialist you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Naval IT Project Specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication. 

You will collaborate directly with Product Managers to oversee the execution of complex programs. From the initial concept to final implementation, you’ll be the driving force behind successful project delivery. You will ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards. You will help navigate ambiguity and extract specific requirements even from high-level information. You will identify and engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, team members, and external partners. You will support senior executives by creating impactful PowerPoint presentations, written reports, and other communication materials. You will proactively identify potential risks and devise mitigation strategies. You will continuously monitor risks throughout the program lifecycle and implement necessary adjustments. You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience in managing cost, schedule, and performance of acquisition efforts

  • 2+ years of experience developing executive leadership communications materials and content in support of key strategic initiatives and promoting executive priorities throughout the organization

  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite to develop briefs, briefing memos, and talking points

  • Experience in risk management with acquisition programs

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with USMC

  • Experience in leading teams

  • Experience with Microsoft 365, MS Teams, and Power BI

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
