Requirements Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Develop and apply advanced systems methods, theories, and research techniques to the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems necessary to develop and field USMC warfighting systems. Plan, conduct, and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects, including coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. Work with USMC stakeholders to analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach and organization to achieve solutions to complex technical problems. Review project progress, evaluate results, and recommend corrections to technical applications and analysis and evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services. Provide technical consultation to technical and non-technical staff, perform a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems, and apply analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of work flow, organization, and planning. Direct and assist system engineers with the application of system engineering principles. Advise USMC combat developers based on expertise in requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, detail trade studies, systems integration and testing, including verification, validation, and interface definition studies of system, subsystem, or system elements.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with major defense acquisition programs, including stakeholder requirements definition, requirements analysis,and architecture design in accordance with existing DoD processes

-Experience with combat or weapon system integration or operations of an integrated combat system

-Knowledge of key regulatory body rules, the DoD acquisition process, including regulations, directives, and statutes, or the USMC application of the DoD acquisition process

-Ability to comprehend complex technical problems

-Secret clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with USMC systems engineering activities as a uniformed Marine, civil servant, or support contractor

-BS degree in Engineering

-Completion of Defense Acquisition University: Test and Evaluation Level III preferred

-Completion of Defense Acquisition University: Program Management Level III preferred
