The Opportunity:

As a scrum master, you’re passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that’s modernizing and creating efficiency in critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need a scrum master like you to create solutions that’ll support our warfighters.

On our team, you’ll apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed. You’ll apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems. Using tools like ServiceNow you’ll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish Program Increment Objectives and Features. In this role, you’ll directly impact the Naval environment by working alongside our clients to deliver impactful solutions. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in IT project management and Agile project management while developing and contributing to a variety of project solutions that will ensure success for the delivery of services in support of the warfighter. You Have:  

  • 3+ years of experience as an Agile project manager serving multiple teams and providing tasking and prioritization 

  • Experience with Agile software project management tools, including ServiceNow and Atlassian Jira

  • Knowledge of budget tracking and management 

  • Knowledge of project and program management practices in a DoD setting

  • Ability to support the Product Owner with maintaining product backlogs

  • Secret clearance  

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience with Navy acquisition program management

  • Knowledge of Navy or USMC programs

  • Ability to proactively solve problems, address challenges, and offer solutions

  • Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement 

  • Scrum Master or Agile SAFe Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
