Electronic Warfare Planner

Key Role:

Work as a Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations planner on a team, including assisting the client with understanding their operational landscape. Serve as an electronic warfare planner within a Combatant Command directorate to conduct deliberate and contingency planning, analysis of functional plan development, and validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and Interagency. Manage electronic warfare (EW) collaboration and initiatives and provide quality and relevant input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports. Apply expertise in EW doctrine, operations, policy, and authority and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. Share expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring.

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of experience with operations in the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Army
-Experience with electronic warfare operations in the DoD as an Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) or Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECMO) or Electronic Warfare Technician
-Experience with Joint functions at the operational, strategic, or national level
-Knowledge of threat radar systems, including RF signal processing designs and techniques, electronic warfare intelligence data systems and databases, and how they are used in programming or reprogramming electronic warfare systems
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Major command or a Combatant Command
-Experience with Joint doctrine
-Experience with the planning or management of electromagnetic spectrum operations
-Experience with Joint Doctrine Note 3-16, CJCSI 3320.0D and Joint electromagnetic spectrum operations
-Experience with CJCSM 3320.01 series and Joint operations in the electromagnetic battlespace
-Experience with developing a Joint Restricted Frequency List (JRFL)
-Experience with coordinating Joint Restricted Frequency Lists (JRFLs)
-Experience with using the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB)
-Experience with technical SIGINT tools and analytic applications.
-Experience with using spectrum management tools
-Experience with the Joint Targeting Toolkit (JTT), Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB), and Master Air Attack Plan Toolkit (MAAP)
-Knowledge of terrestrial communications, SATCOM, and GPS threats
-Possession of excellent analytical skills at strategic and operational levels
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-MA or MS degree
-Attendance of the Joint Targeting School, the USAF Targeting IFTU, or one of the DoD's planner courses
