Key Role:
Serve as a military special programs planner, integrator, and advisor within a Combatant Command directorate working on special operations and military collaborations and initiatives. Conduct deliberate and contingency planning and analysis of functional plan development, validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoD, and Interagency. Provide quality, relevant input on strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports. Apply expertise in integrated operations (IO) doctrine, operations, policy, and authority and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. Conduct and validate research and analysis, prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform client leadership. Consult on the application of warfighting disciplines, Course of Action (COA) analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes or procedures. Develop and deliver risk management and signature reduction inputs for planning integration.
Basic Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with strategic, operational, and technical military planning, development, coordination, and execution of Joint, Coalition, and Service participation in Combatant Command operations, exercises, demonstrations, experiments, and real-world operations
6+ years of experience with information operations, including client capabilities
3+ years of experience with human intelligence and advanced special operations
3+ years of experience with collection requirements for human intelligence (HUMINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), and technical intelligence (TECHINT)
Experience with IJSTO or MILDEC procedures
Experience with solving complex problems and briefing senior leadership
Experience with defense or military risk management processes and tools
Experience with defense signature management processes and tools
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with Special Access Program (SAP) preferred
Experience with counterintelligence operations
Experience with exquisite intelligence programs
Experience with alternate and compensatory control measures information (ACCM)
Experience with POLMIL and Gain and Loss Assessment Coordination
Experience with Joint Special Operations forces preferred
Experience with operations in the European or Pacific AORs preferred
Ability to communicate the distinction between operational preparation of the environment (OPE) and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)
Ability to communicate the distinction between classified military information (CMI) and national intelligence
Completion of Joint Information Operation Planners' Course (JIOPC) preferred
