Maintenance and Modernization Analyst

Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate shore-based C4I system modernizations. You’ll develop your skills in developing the processes and analytical tools while gaining experience in cognitive and analytical tradecraft in this vital and enduring endeavor. You’ll provide advice and support services for the governance of the modernization processes for a suite of communications, networking, intelligence, meteorology-oceanography, and computer processing-related technologies and programs. You’ll research, develop, and maintain configuration management information in a central repository. You’ll validate authoritative data for systems or subsystems, implement configuration management best practices, and manage associated applications. You’ll support the modernization of C4I systems through review and analysis of installation artifacts for shore-based Navy commands, and work with Program Offices and shore sites to resolve any artifact or installation issues.

You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance and modernization staff position on a Navy Functional Command, Navy Component Command, or Navy Echelon III or above staff
  • 3+ years of experience working issues for the Navy Data Environment (NDE), Automated Work Notification (AWN), or Naval Information Warfare SYSCOM/PEO Integrated Data Environment and Repository (SPIDER)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Knowledge of the OPNAV Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
  • Ability to prepare briefs and whitepapers for presentation to clients
  • TS/SCI clearance 
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience as an action officer with military maintenance and modernization on a Navy Functional Command, Navy Component Command, or Joint, Service, or Echelon III or above staff
  • Experience performing Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) functions in a supervisory role
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across multiple organizations
  • Ability to provide advice on varied and complex problems, especially those involving process improvement environments
  • Ability to work independently with some supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing for briefing and documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
