Systems Engineer, Mid

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to design Linux and Windows systems in support of the military. Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize new technologies. You’ll develop your skills in VMware, Linux , Windows, and the cloud, including AWS, Azure, and Google while gaining experience in advanced analytics and data science. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in working with VMware
  • Experience in architecting a vSphere environments with vSan as storage
  • Experience in working with virtual networking, including configuring vSwitches with multiple subnets
  • Ability to configure, manage, and maintain virtual machines
  • Ability to upgrade, patch, and maintain ESXi host
  • Ability to design, recommend, and deploy emerging server virtualization technologies
  • Ability to configure group policy and DHCP
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED
  • Security + certification

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with working in a Windows domain environment
  • Experience in working with DoD mandated software such as ACAS, HBSS, and STIGs
  • Experience with using SCCM and WSUS to patch, run a PXE Server, and distribute software to users
  • Knowledge of SQL Server
  • Knowledge of NFS and roaming profiles
  • Ability to design, recommend, and deploy emerging server virtualization technologies
  • Ability to learn new technology quickly
  • Ability to configure and maintain domain controllers
  • Ability to create DNS records
  • BA or BS degree

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required
