Job Description
Key Role:
Work with a team of expert cyber security consultants on a cyber-focused business dedicated to helping commercial enterprises manage their cyber security risks. Work with the world’s most respected brands to secure their people, infrastructure, and data, and help develop innovative solutions to some of the most complex cyber problems. Support clients to improve their cyber threat intelligence programs, develop intelligence products, use specialized collections tools and services, process and analyze cyber threat intelligence data, and produce regular and ad hoc intelligence reports. Help clients and colleagues to understand emerging cyber threats and the impact they have to organizations, provide an intelligence context to support the fine-tuning of signatures in incident detection and response operations, and provide input to new detection strategies and remediation guidance. Support other colleagues across the team with project delivery and client management where needed, in a wide variety of areas including cyber strategy and risk, advanced cyber defense, cyber security operations, and incident response. Work internally to help the team develop further into the European market, supporting business development activities, participating in events, and promoting the Booz Allen brand. Learn new skills and develop your cyber security tool kit, while being supported through industry certifications and access to mentoring from cyber practitioners across the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a cyber threat intelligence analyst or consultant
Experience using cyber threat intelligence collection and analysis tools, interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources, and documenting the results to provide meaningful products
Experience with report writing and presenting materials, using Microsoft tools such as Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint to make high quality deliverables
Knowledge of cyber threat intelligence lifecycles and the interaction with other cyber defense functions such as vulnerability management, threat detection operations, and threat hunt
Knowledge of technical concepts, including operating systems, software development, and networking
Ability to analyze and solve complex challenges, follow a client brief, and apply both logical and lateral thinking to a problem
Ability to work and collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including clients
Ability to learn new and varied IT skills and concepts, and develop cyber security expertise
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Bachelor’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of experience delivering cyber security solutions as a management consultant
Knowledge of broad cyber security topics, trends, and latest news
Knowledge of risk management principles
Master’s degree
Cyber Threat Intelligence and Information Security Certifications
