As a Security Architect, you’ll assist our team in designing and implementing security controls for our clients. You’ll recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid resources to address the risk management framework (RMF). Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with our client to ensure standards are met with information assurance and security requirements.

In this role, you will apply threat modeling techniques for developing custom-tailored Zero Trust controls that apply to secure design and architecture methodologies for network, data, and application deployments and work to infuse Zero Trust design principles across all pillars in a Zero Trust model. You will support enterprise-wide, cloud-hosted, end-to-end Zero Trust architecture projects involving cutting-edge technologies and concepts, including Cloud technologies, enterprise identity, microservices, containers, encryption, tokenization, AI, ML, SIEM, and threat modeling. You will help consult on Zero Trust security technologies, tools, and techniques and communicate the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise security architecture, including designing, building, and maintaining enterprise IT systems, and traditional IT assets, including workstations, servers, networking devices, and Cloud infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience with one or more of the major Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) model cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience with defining security requirements, developing or conducting security assessments, and providing security recommendations using industry standards
  • Experience with developing information system security architectures for the cloud, including network security, infrastructure security, and application security
  • Knowledge of best practice Cybersecurity and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks and trends 
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture
  • Ability to develop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with engineering or architecting solutions on-premises and in the cloud
  • Experience with enterprise Cloud systems and multi-cloud environments
  • Experience with developing and implementing solutions across Zero Trust pillars
  • Experience with information security and assessment frameworks, including ISO 27001/2, COBIT, or NIST
  • Experience leading junior staff members
  • Ability to work in collaborative environments and independently with minimal supervision
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Certification in cloud computing or cloud security such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK)
