Acquisition Program Manager, Sr.

Key Role:

Provide defense acquisition life cycle subject matter expertise for an Air Force client. Perform program planning and execution activities, including analysis regarding acquisition strategy and program baseline, program documentation and tailoring, programming and budgeting exhibits, and program team organization, coordination, and communication. Participates in and create materials for risk review boards, program office reviews, and milestone decision reviews. Serve as a liaison with the program and project sponsor, customers, and other stakeholders for effective collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Air Force acquisition and logistical processes

-Experience with developing and presenting complex information to senior government officials using Microsoft Office applications

-Knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000.02 and the operation of the Defense Acquisition System

-Ability to work with the client to achieve deadlines and milestones in all phases of the defense acquisition life cycle

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, team leadership, development, and client relationship skills

-Acquisition Profession Development Program or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
