Full Stack Web Developer, Senior

We’re looking for a senior full stack web developer with the advanced skills needed to build solutions for a Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) client from vision to production-ready system.

This role is more than just coding. We need a full-stack web developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using a variety of technologies on an Agile delivery tea, you’ll build solutions enabling the client to perform a variety of technical, scientific, and administrative tasks. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience with software development
  • Experience with drafting documentation, including one or more of the following: logical and physical diagrams, data flows, capacity plans, configuration documentation, security documentation, and architecture documentation
  • Experience with version control workflow using Git and coding across the web full-stack, including Angular, HTML/CSS, Node.JS, Java, PHP, React, MongoDB, and MSQL
  • Experience with Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and serverless technologies
  • Experience with preparing and delivering presentations on system concepts to colleagues, subordinates, and user representatives.
  • Experience with testing products cross-browser, cross-platform, or cross-device compatibility
  • Knowledge of SQL and Oracle data mining and secure programming with front-end apps, REST APIs session and security, and OAuth 2/JWT
  • Ability to lead a software development team to build and support a system or its modules while coaching and mentoring other developers, including collaborating around identifying and implementing design decisions made by the team
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in CS or IT

Nice if You Have:

  • 12+ years of experience with software development for complex systems pertaining to financial management solutions preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure preferred
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology
  • Experience with TOGAF Architecture methodologies 
  • Possession of excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, including strict attention to detail and collaborating across teams to coordinate the development and reuse of components and services
  • MA or MS degree
