Master Scheduler

Key Role:

Analyze the development of plans, including budgets and schedules to meet contractual or project requirements for several major portions of a program. Establish and define program plan requirements and perform in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans.  Coordinate the interdepartmental development of program plans. Interface with vendors and customers and perform extensive investigations, as required. Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met and arrange modifications, as required. 

Basic Qualifications: 

-3+ years of experience with scheduling and planning 
-3+ years of experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access 
-Ability to critically assess schedules and other project controls data and communicate priority findings to teams 
-Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations 

-Ability to manage client and team relationships


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with supporting programs and contracts in the federal government 
-Experience with developing resource loaded schedule 
-Experience with earned value and portfolio management 
-Experience with performing schedule risk assessments (SRA) and enterprise risk assessments 

-Experience with government consulting and training others on scheduling best practices 

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills 
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics 

-PMP Certification
