Document Control Specialist

Key Role:

Prepare and maintain systems, programming and operations documentation, including user and reference manuals, and participate in capturing requirements, while maintaining a current internal documentation library. Provide and coordinate special documentation services, work in documentation phases, and participate in projects, including compilation and maintaining technical documentation, such as change orders and specifications. Examine documents to verify completeness and accuracy of data, resolve discrepancies, and maintain computerized document control records management to ensure compliance with all applicable and required standards. Follow procedures and standards for maintaining documents and change control of documents, including document development, production, distribution, and amendment in all life cycles. Transform and integrate document control from management to legacy to virtualized documentation, TOs, TCTOs, and RFC and OCR forms into an Agile management and delivery cadence. Automate current processes to support CM and other affected processes. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with handling documentation

-2+ years of experience with documentation and process automation

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

-Knowledge of AF DCGS documentation process and technologies

-Knowledge of AF portal E-Publishing forms and publications

-Ability to logically build and organize complex documentation

-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

 

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to comprehend technical requirements and translate into documentation

-Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance

-DMCP Certification
