Acquisition Budget Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a senior financial analyst for an Army client working on system of systems integration and engineering. Maintain responsibility for monitoring and tracking funds provided to event participants using the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and updating Commitment Reference ledgers. Verify all provided funds are committed in accordance with the event-approved spend plan on a daily basis for each event supported and ensure commitments are input and tracked within GFEBS. Provide the disbursement status of the funds in the Standard Operation and Maintenance, Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS) using the SOMARDS-generated reporting format. Analyzed the tracking of disbursements and provide a monthly status update to the resource manager using GFEBS Business Intelligence (BI) reports. Load approved government travel funds into the Defense Travel System (DTS). Provide alignment and relational recommendations to the government in its establishment of an annual financial Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience with funding execution in a government program management or program executive office

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 or level 3 Certification in Budget Management

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Army PEO or PM support

-Knowledge of Army Staff procedures and DoD acquisition regulations and instructions

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
