As a Digital Engineering Lead practitioner on our team, you’ll have the chance to lead the development and upgrades of aerospace systems across multiple defense, civilian, and space domains by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You will help lead a diverse team of technically competent engineers, each rising in their careers. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with systems engineering activities, including architecting solutions from user requirements and use cases applied across the engineering life cycle
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the design, development, and review of systems engineering design artifacts for integrated software and hardware solutions, including design, interface, and system security design
  • Experience with modeling and requirements tools, including Magic Draw or Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody, or DOORS
  • Ability to use MBSE tools and processes to create and manage tailored MBSE artifacts that capture analysis and the resulting engineering decisions and trades made during acquisition and development
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

Nice If You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with Systems Engineering or MBSE
  • 4+ years of experience using digital engineering tools or methods and techniques to design DoD systems
  • Experience supporting engineering tools, including Dassault 3DS, SBE Vision, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, STK, and CAD tools, including CATIA and SolidWorks
  • Experience in a DoD program acquisition office
  • Knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts regarding the use of engineering models across the lifecycle, authoritative lifecycle data, toolchains, digital threads, or digital twins
  • Master’s degree in Engineering
  • SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
