Acquisition Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Support the VA's Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an Acquisition SME. Create statements of work, white papers, lists of assumptions, cost models, and informational briefings. Collaborate with stakeholder leads to guide task order development and ensure timelines are met through the delivery of tangible work products, including technical writing and editing, professional PowerPoint presentations, and infographics. Analyze, assess, and coordinate acquisition program documentation, including Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, and Acquisition Decision Memorandums.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with acquisition package creation for the VA or DoD

  • Experience with financial and accounting terminology

  • Experience with acquisitions as a primary work function

  • Experience with government consulting

  • Master's degree in Healthcare, Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or Engineering and 4+ years of experience working in a professional environment or 12+ years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Veterans Affairs acquisition processes
