Acquisition Subject Matter Expert, Senior

Key Role:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as an Acquisition SME. Create statements of work, white papers, lists of assumptions, cost models, and informational briefings. Collaborate with Cerner, VA TAC, and EHRM Leads to guide task order development and ensure timelines are met through the delivery of tangible work products (e.g., technical writing and editing, professional PowerPoint presentations, and infographics). Assist with government led analysis and alternatives utilizing critical thinking skills, ROIs, market research, and planning activities ranging from tactical to strategic. Track and shepherd acquisitions through the OEHRM process. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with acquisition package creation for the VA or DoD

  • Experience with Financial and Accounting terminology

  • Experience with acquisitions as a primary work function

  • Experience with government consulting

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or Engineering and 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment or 18+ years of experience working in a professional environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Veterans Affairs acquisition processes

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $69,100 - $144,400 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $73,400 - $176,40 (annualized USD)
