Assistant Treasurer

Key Role:

Serve as Booz Allen’s Assistant Treasurer, maintain and direct stewardship of financial assets and debt, including leadership of cash and liquidity management, debt management and investment management. Provide oversight for daily cash management operations, including cash positioning and reconciliation, bank administration and short-term investments and borrowing. Develop and review detailed short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts for internal use and external communications to lending institutions and other stakeholders. Engage with external stakeholders to manage relationships with financial institutions and other third-party providers including evaluating service levels, reviewing bank fees, and continuously identifying opportunities to streamline banking processes and reduce costs. Help to transform the treasury function through process improvement and optimization, automation of functions, increasing internal controls, and leveraging digital and analytical capabilities to prepare management reports and to measure performance of treasury activities. Oversee financial risk management activities, including foreign currency hedging, interest rate risk management activities. Develop a diverse group of Treasury personnel for high-performance that meets the organization’s needs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with treasury management
  • Experience with developing and managing a global treasury team
  • Experience with leveraging digital tools and technologies in finance and treasury
  • Experience with analytical modeling, planning, and organizing expertise
  • Experience with domestic and international banking, financing, and capital markets
  • Knowledge of corporate finance, capital and credit markets, liquidity management, working capital, and M&A- and treasury-related instruments and products
  • Ability to think and act strategically
  • Ability to negotiate effectively
  • Ability to manage a network of internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with investment banking in a global corporate role preferred
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, research analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • MBA or MS degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certification preferred
