Autonomous Systems Solutions Architect, Lead

Key Role:

Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy, utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs, while complying with company's strategies, business goals, and key ethical considerations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience within algorithm development
  • 3+ years of experience with estimation theory
  • 3+ years of experience translating algorithms into working software
  • Ability to synthesize technology solutions from incompletely defined customer needs
  • Ability to perform modeling and simulation to validate concepts
  • Ability to direct other engineers and software professionals in development of AI solutions
  • Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience using MATLAB for development, modeling, and simulation
  • 5+ years of experience with application of optimization theory, distributed or cooperative control theory, neural networks, or Bayesian techniques
  • 3+ years of experience with Reinforcement Learning or Generative Adversarial Networks
  • 3+ years of experience developing technical proposals in response to RFIs and RFPs
  • 2+ years of experience with graph theory
  • Knowledge of military autonomy standards
  • Ability to manage technical teams
  • Ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams, develop excellent client relationships, and develop intellectual capital that enhances firm capabilities
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Doctorate degree in Engineering

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $106,200.00 to $242,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
