BSA and AML Compliance Analyst

As a Bank Security Act/Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) Compliance Analyst, you use your specialized compliance expertise and your attention to detail to develop reports and written assessments to give your client the insight, understanding, and context they need. If you have excellent analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to protect national security and our financial system.

As a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst on our team, you’ll help your client to comprehend money laundering, financial crime, and other illicit finance risks and typologies. Using your understanding of BSA/AML regulations and compliance programs, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. You’ll validate information as you build assessments for compliance and enforcement actions. As the authority on your area of expertise, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in regulatory and compliance matters, and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You’ll serve as a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst. You’ll assist with the evaluation of financial regulatory information and evaluate BSA compliance. You’ll review regulatory filings by financial institutions, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). You Have:

-Experience with working in the private sector or a governmental Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU)

-Experience with the analysis of people, activities, methods, or trends, including money laundering, financial crime, or other threat activities 

-Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel

-Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and associated compliance programs implemented by regulated institutions 

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience in enforcement or compliance and working with or for banking regulators, including the SEC, FINRA, OCC, FRB, FDIC, NCUA, or a state regulator, such as NY DFS

-Experience with implementing or analyzing financial regulatory compliance programs 

-Experience with investigating and documenting instances of non-compliance by financial institutions 

-Experience with conducting investigations, examinations, or audits of financial institutions

-Knowledge of bank internal controls and how to audit internal controls 


Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
