Business Development Lead

Key Role:

Apply client development, market growth, and business development knowledge to help grow and build a net new portfolio of clients within our commercial market, focused only on cybersecurity services and adjacent services. Identify net new clients and build and maintain client relationships. Identify, develop, and close new sales opportunities and create a demand for the organization's products and services by raising their profile with clients. Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members. Work on unusually complex problems. Create solutions that are highly creative and act as a leader on large sales pursuits leveraging knowledge of business, financials, products or services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts. Serve as the sales lead working on high complexity sales pursuits. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with selling Cybersecurity services or technical consulting services

-Experience with consulting business development activities, including hunting, farming, and developing long-term client relationships with C-Level executives

-Experience with presenting and communicating to teams, executives, and clients, including briefings and leading client and team-based discussions

-Experience with Cybersecurity and analytics tools to inform stakeholder discussions and business strategy decisions

-Ability to drive the identification and implementation of security solutions

-Ability to build excellent relationships with technology vendors and develop mutually beneficial partnerships

-Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working on commercial engagements 

-Experience with strategy design and consulting implementation engagements  

-Experience in the consumer, transportation, and manufacturing markets

-Experience with adoption of CRM

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Knowledge of various risk management and security frameworks

-Ability to demonstrate an excellent personal network within the industry

-Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment

-Possession of excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision making, planning, organizational, and client facilitation skills

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000 to 185,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
