Business Financial Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Leverage expertise in acquisition, cost, programming, and budget analysis to provide strategic guidance to Navy program managers and help them address risks, develop solutions to systemic and long-standing challenges, and achieve mission success. Prepare reports on the programs budget analysis and financial presentations to support the Navy client's programming and budgeting process, including their basis of estimates. Support the preparation of program and budget analysis, capabilities requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, and memos within prescribed timelines for review and analysis. Evaluate the interpretation of requests for data and facts and acquire, analyze, and prepare presentations of program and budget data for use in program decision-making. Assist with the analysis of funded requirements and execution history and the analysis and reporting of planned vs. actual requirements and funding. Analyze budget and financial planning to identify potential variances and support and maintain funding profiles for programs, projects, and contracts.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with budget planning, preparation, and execution for acquisition programs

-Experience with report preparation that reflects the programs or project status in areas of cost, schedule, and performance

-Experience with Procurement Business Intelligence Service (PBIS), Automated Document Management System (AUTODOC), Security Tracking and Authorization Request System (STARS), or Collaborative Battlespace Reasoning and Awareness Cobra

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-2 years of experience with the Navy

-Experience with Navy enterprise resource planning (ERP)

-AA or AS degree and 2 years of experience with finance or BA or BS degree

-Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I Certification in Business or Financial Management
