CMS Marketplace Analyst

The Challenge:

As an analytics professional, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. With the abundance of structured and unstructured data, you understand the importance of transforming complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges.

As a client-facing data analyst on our health team, you’ll provide consulting services focused on SAS and R coding, quality assurance and control, and analysis file preparation of healthcare data for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Perform clear and concise report writing, display oral communication expertise, and present to solutions to clients. Develop standard operating procedures for data management and analysis. Assist with monitoring and assessing data integrity, accuracy, and completeness using commonly accepted QA practices appropriate for quantitative and qualitative data.

You Have

  • Experience with advanced-level SAS programming
  • Experience with advanced-level R programming
  • Experience with data manipulation using statistical software
  • Experience with version control and meticulous documentation of code and project updates
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with CMS programs
  • Bachelor's degree

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience with the CMS Health Care Marketplaces
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with querying, validating, manipulating, and transferring data sets across multiple formats
  • Knowledge of various CMS environments
  • Master's degree
