Certified Public Accountant, Junior

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for all segments of the general accounting function, directly, and through subordinate supervisors. Project accounting data to show the effects of proposed plans on overall financial conditions. Maintain responsibility for coordinating and managing the accuracy and maintenance of the ledger accounts and the resultant financial statements. Participate in the most complex general accounting projects. Prepare general tax reports for sales, payroll, and payable and receivables.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with public accounting providing service to federal clients
  • Ability to communicate with federal financial management and non-financial audiences effectively  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite 
  • Public Trust clearance required
  • BA or BS degree
  • CPA Certification required

Additional Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with financial statement preparation and financial reporting
  • 3+ years of experience with audit response and remediation, audit process and procedures, corrective action development, and internal controls
  • Possession of excellent interpersonal, leadership, and client facing skills  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Clearance:
