Integration Project Manager

Key Role:

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program as Council Coordinator. Work directly with the Operations Team Lead to support the following activities: Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, respond to data calls as requested by Office of Electronic Health Record Management (OEHRM) program government leadership, compile data calls and provide QA following operations team lead guidance. Troubleshoot issues raised by Process Re-Engineering (PRE) government team. Maintain and provide QA on PRE foundational artifacts, including the EHR Council Master Roster, OEHRM-VHA MOU, decision log, Workshop Decision Memos (WDMs), and Council Charter. Monitor EHR Council Command shared Outlook mail, calendar, meetings, and invitees list. Distribute CMIO Communication to EHR Councils and stakeholders and facilitate information dissemination as well as issue identification between EHR Councils. Track, route, and respond to requests that are submitted to the EHR Council Command and provide administrative support to the Council Command and CMIO PRE government team.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment    

  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects

  • Experience with life cycle and project management methodologies

  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance, Project Management, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, or Healthcare or an additional 8+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the VA

  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

  • Possession of strong organization skills

  • Possession of strong verbal and written and communication skills

  • PMP or related Project Management Certification

  • Agile Framework Certification
