Commercial Business Development and Sales Support Lead

Key Role:

Support the strategic market development plan that identifies cross-organizational opportunities in partnership with key internal stakeholders, including sales, service, and marketing teams. Define high-level opportunities across the Commercial customer space. Identify and engage key customers, prospects, and influencers, and identify and engage key alliances and organizations. Support business development pipeline growth by engaging with key clients, prospects, and alliances. This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in a pre-sale and appointment environment and hunting or prospecting for net new clients

-3+ years of experience in a junior business development role with annual revenue or sales targets at commercial target accounts, including High Tech or CPG Retail industries

-Experience with business development through the entire business development cycle through contract award

-Ability to demonstrate positive client relationships and a record of success in leveraging these relationships for opportunity wins

-Ability to engage with C-suite-level executives

-Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team

-Ability to coordinate, collaborate, and lead without oversight responsibly

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and CRM tool mastery

-Experience with selling Information Security or IT Consulting Services

-Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent project management and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
