Community Impact Program Coordinator, Mid

Key Role:

Work with internal and external organizations and vendors to enhance the firm’s reputation and social impact by establishing measurable goals, implementation and communications plans, and partnerships aligned to the firm’s business and corporate citizenship strategies. Serve as a community manager and day-to-day vendor liaison for the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility engagement and grant-making platform, including efforts to increase employee engagement with the platform, financial management, grants management, monthly invoicing, and reporting. Coordinate and implement key partnerships supporting the firm’s priority philanthropic impact areas. Support and track programs, enabling their mission to collaborate with non-profits on the hyperlocal level to expand equitable access to STEM education and to be a convener in the equitable access to education space. Collaborate with Community Impact professionals and volunteers to manage ongoing operational tasks, including serving as the day-to-day first point of contact for employees and external organizations, as well as partner across the firm with marketing, media, creative, data analytics, government relations, military and veteran affairs, business sector leaders, and key stakeholders throughout the firm to deliver integrated programs. Manage the communications program and schedule of important initiatives and resources key to the Community Impact and Philanthropy strategy and goals. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in corporate community involvement, community relations, community partnerships, corporate philanthropy, or corporate social responsibility 
  • Experience as a partnerships program coordinator, including developing strategy recommendations, identifying targets and goals, and program management from project inception to close-out 
  • Experience with program management, metrics tracking, and reporting 
  • Experience with working for a large corporation of 8,000+ employees
  • Experience in collaborating with corporate communications to engage internal and external audiences and to contribute to a company’s corporate affairs goals 
  • Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leaders, by developing and delivering impactful presentations and briefings
  • Ability to operate across an organization to develop relationships to work with and guide a diverse community of stakeholders at various levels of seniority  
  • Ability to be flexible, manage complex and fast-changing program elements, concurrent initiatives, and prioritize effectively in response 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, Public Affairs, or Marketing

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of program evaluation and measurement 
  • Ability to own programs while working individually and in a collaborative team environment 
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects to effectively manage priorities 
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 65,000 to 85,000.
