Construction Engineer

Key Role:

Serve as the primary point of contact for the technical aspects to review and analysis requirements development of all minor construction and infrastructure readiness work to support construction remediation in the Pacific Northwest in support of EHRM Initial Operating Capacity (IOC). Review existing policy and design guidelines to comprehend current requirements for IT areas, including telecommunications rooms and data centers. Provide insight and feedback to current plans and designs for IT facilities in support of the rollout of EHRM. Provide technical feedback for program plans and schedules to ensure that timelines, risks, and designs have the appropriate level of detail and validity and abide by commercial best practices. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in a professional work environment

  • 15+ years of experience in IT and engineering, including dealing with construction and infrastructure

  • Experience with supporting construction in a healthcare or hospital environment

  • Experience with analyzing policies and procedures supporting minor construction or non-recurring maintenance

  • Experience with developing requirements for contracting and managing upgrades to Telecommunications Rooms and Data Centers

  • Experience with managing limitations and requirements of IT hardware, including switches and servers

  • Knowledge of key IT infrastructure concerns in relation to Local Area Network and how they relate to construction

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, or 23+ years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 145,000 to 165,000 . Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
