Cyber Strategy Consultant/Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Lead client work delivery and grow business across a range of commercial markets, including automotive, financial services, oil and gas, and healthcare. Work with organizations to determine the Cyber risk environment, identify opportunities, craft program strategy, and develop tactical action plans for organizations to achieve their overall Cybersecurity objectives in support of the business. Lead diverse teams of management consultants and engineers to develop high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment and serve as the primary interface with senior clientele. Serve as part of Booz Allen’s commercial market leadership team, conduct business development by determining market needs, establish new business opportunities, and lead pursuit activities. Play a lead role in attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience in Cybersecurity with at least 5+ years of those years of experience with commercial consulting

-Experience with working for large consulting firms, including Deloitte, EY, CapGemini, or Accenture

-Experience with conducting business development activities across the consulting life cycle, including ideation, lead generation, pursuit, deal closure, and relationship management

-Experience with assessing, designing, or implementing security programs or specific capabilities, including governance, incident response, threat intelligence, security monitoring, or vulnerability management

-Experience with advanced-level Microsoft Office, including developing high-end, polished PowerPoint decks expected of strategy consulting firms

-Knowledge of top Cyber standards and frameworks, including NIST Cybersecurity Framework and ISO 27001

-Ability to synthesize and analyze multiple views, perspectives, and data sets as part of a comprehensive client problem discovery and solution design

-Ability to distill and articulate complex messages in oral and written forms for technical and non-technical audiences skillfully, perform thorough quality control on commercial client-ready deliverables, and foster positive client relationships to promotes trust and grow revenue potential

-Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working through both the strategic and technical aspects of Cybersecurity

-Knowledge of risk management disciplines

-Possession of excellent executive presence to confidently guide conversations with executives in different situations

-Possession of excellent written communication skills to provide substantive narrative inputs into proposals and marketing content

-BA or BS degree in MIS, CS, or a related technical field preferred; MA, MS, or MBA degree a plus
