Data Scientist, Mid

Key Role:

Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of historical data to help automate and optimize key processes and detailed reports and visualizations. Apply expertise in data analysis, data integration, and data mining to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all published analyses. Interact with the stakeholder and customer to comprehend the business problem and help and aid them in implementation to solve problems. Communicate and demonstrate results and ideas to key decision makers. Prepare presentations of data and analyses.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with statistical programming languages, including Python or R

-Knowledge of Data Visualization platforms, including Tableau, Kibana, Power BI, or QLIK

-Knowledge of pattern recognition and predictive modeling

-Ability to comprehend disparate data sources with varying data structures of content and prepare these for data science and machine learning applications

-Ability to comprehend various data structures and common methods in data transformation

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with ETL tools, including Informatica or Alteryx

-Experience with RPA tools, including UiPath and Blue Prism

-Experience with data mining, graph theory, and statistical analysis

-Knowledge of secure information systems architecture design and implementation principles

-BA or BS degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Systems Engineering, or CS
