Design Strategist, Mid

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in communicating and envisioning service concepts across a variety of platforms on client-facing projects. Maintain responsibility for delivering projects in industries that range from healthcare and finance to a variety of public sector clients. Create journey maps to identify points of improvement or design a system to measure customer experience. Comprehend the generative and evaluative user research to easily weave multiple stakeholders into the project plan. Define project scope and work with the program manager to proactively respond to rapidly changing environments. Apply a mix of left- and right-brain thinking to guide the production of high-quality deliverables, including progress reports, journey maps, service blueprints, and interactive prototypes. Leverage expertise from Booz Allen Digital, including data scientists, UX/UI designers, and illustrators to enable the team to look at the problem from different points of view, translating human-centered insights into solutions to better people's lives.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-Experience with UX, service design, design thinking, design research, business design, or customer experience

-Experience with expectation setting against real world limitations
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in consulting, facilitation, or training environments a plus

-Experience with communicating visually using too that include Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop a plus

-Experience with drawing insights from qualitative and quantitative data and determining next steps based on those insights

-Experience with facilitating ad leading workshops and other client facing engagements a plus

-Ability to assess and assist with the imagining, planning, and execution of research plans, facilitation activities, and other deliverables to meet client needs

-Ability to be inspiring, open-minded, hardworking, collaborative, and thoughtful
