DevSecOps Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Create advanced DevSecOps solutions in the Cloud that will serve as the software tools baseline for hundreds of applications. Build enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and Azure. Implement Cybersecurity solutions to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems in leading commercial Clouds like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Design and build solutions in the Cloud to protect sensitive information for government agencies and global enterprises.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud engineering
  • Experience with AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, including Bash, Python, or PowerShell
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with container and orchestration solutions, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift-Experience with APIs and Web services, including REST and SOAP
  • Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing tools, including JUnit and Selenium
  • Experience with application, network, and infrastructure performance monitoring and analysis
  • Knowledge of secure systems development practices, including principle of least privilege, secrets management, static code analysis, and artifact management
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defense, auditing, authentication, and supply chain risk management
  • Knowledge of secure configuration guidelines, including DoD STIGs and CIS benchmarks
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of high availability and resiliency concepts for infrastructure, including failover, clustering, disaster recovery, blue-green deployment, and site reliability engineering
  • Security+ Certification
  • SysOps Administrator, Developer, or DevOps Engineer Certification
