Developer, Lead

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the design, development and delivery of web-based technical solutions to meet business requirements. Participate in design projects from timeline development through delivery. Work on projects that may include back-end database development and SQL queries via CGI scripting. Use one or more of the following languages or tools for everyday work, as needed: C++, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, Active Server Pages, SQL, or CGI. Work on advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical knowledge. Be the in-house expert on specific technologies. Develop competency in project and financial management and be involved in managing teams and formulating business strategy. Guide the progress of projects while mentoring junior staff in both firm and technical competencies as a project manager.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with Agile software development, including open source Java technology

-5+ years of experience with designing and developing complex software systems on a virtualized Cloud environment, including AWS

-3+ years of experience with developing Java RESTful Web services

-3+ years of experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts using tools that include Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and Netsparker

-Experience with application servers, including JBoss

-Experience in designing or modeling with RDBMS, including Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, or PostgreSQL

-Experience with delivering software solutions using best practices, including test-driven development (TDD) or adaptable software design

-Public Trust clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:​

​​-Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift

-Experience with developing and deploying microservices in a Cloud environment

-MS degree in CS
