Disclosure Representative and SME

Key Role:

Support a Command's foreign disclosure officer in applying foreign disclosure policy. Review materials or documents for release or disclosure to foreign partners. Support exercise development, including foreign disclosure considerations. Advise staff on foreign disclosure policy and procedures in accordance with foreign disclosure and track and maintain records for decisions concerning disclosure. Analyze the drafting of foreign disclosure policy to inform and influence changes to foreign disclosure policy. Maintain record archives of disclosure requests and adjudications, respond to requests for data, and propose disclosures or releases of information after technical and substantive reviews of information.

Basic Qualifications:

-20+ years of experience with applying foreign disclosure policy

-Knowledge of intelligence community (IC) and DoD policies and procedures for determining the reliability of classified information

-Ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to defense planners and policymakers at the undersecretary level or higher
-Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in an operations center environment with foreign partners

-Experience with space policy and authorities

-Completion of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)'s Defense Intelligence Enterprise Foreign Disclosure Course (DIA-INT-2300) or a Combatant Command equivalent

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
