ETL Informatica Developer, Lead

The Challenge:

Do you want to solve complex data challenges? You know that data yields pivotal insights when it’s gathered from disparate sources and organized. As a seasoned data engineer, you have the chance to lead the development and deployment of the pipelines and platforms that make this data meaningful. What’s more, you’ll have the chance to drive the growth of Booz Allen’s DataOps capabilities while guiding a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, data scientists, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

As an Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) developer, you will use your Informatica expertise for a data management, data integration, and business intelligence program. You'll work on a high-visibility mission support data program for a key client in the Civil Market that interfaces with stakeholders across an enterprise-wide Federal department.

You will extract, transform and load key data and metadata from the client's source systems and source provided transaction files through our Oracle integrated data warehouse for report and visualization development. Work independently to develop implementable code, design and develop unit and regression testing scripts, leverage depth in all elements of data management and data engineering, design data integration or data transformation solutions, and lead a team of other ETL developers while providing product quality assurance and quality control through a DevOps pipeline.

This role is more than just coding. We need an ETL developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using the software development lifecycle, you’ll build and implement highly performing and highly scalable applications that integrate with Business Rules Engine and Analytics tools. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Join us as we build systems to change the federal government for the better.
