Earth Science Missions and Applications Coordinator

The Challenge:

You know the secret to a successful project is tracking the balance between resources and performance. You can look at metrics, identify risk indicators, and plan changes to keep the project within budget and on time while achieving goals successfully. What if you could use those project analysis skills to make a difference in science missions and applications for NASA? We have an opportunity for a project analyst to join our team as we provide studies, strategic management, and implementation support for NASA's Applied Sciences Program to support the program's efforts to integrate applications into the development of Earth science missions.

On our team, you’ll assess and communicate methods to identify applications communities for new satellite projects, while providing recommendations on strategies and best practices for conducting applications for Earth observation missions and projects. The real power of project analysis comes from communication, so you’ll work across program areas to create status updates, document smart practices from previous and existing missions, and make experience-based recommendations for improvement to project leadership. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. This is a chance to use your analysis skills while expanding your project and program management experience. Join us and make sure our key aerospace and NASA project stays on-time and within budget as we support the client's program efforts to deliver uses of Earth observations, build capabilities to use Earth science data, and contribute to satellite mission planning.
