Enterprise Network Architect

Key Role:

Support a DoD client’s organization by leveraging expertise in designing and implementing data communications networks. Support and collaborate with organizational stakeholders to determine organization goals in developing Enterprise Architecture network drawings and artifacts. Analyze the development and detail of the integration touchpoints between Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning and Analysis. Leverage expertise in the development, and maintain Enterprise Architecture with functional views, including but limited to Strategy, Business, Infrastructure, and Security. Analyze the development, administer, and maintain Enterprise Architecture Network and Infrastructure documentation. Maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company. Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between components.

Basic Qualification:

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise network design, including routing, switching, load balancers, firewalls, data center, VMware, Cloud technologies, and networking protocols 
  • 2+ years of experience in designing and building data communication networks, including local area networks, wide area networks, Cloud infrastructure, and intranets 
  • 2+ years of experience with Telecommunication, Security Authentication, and Personal Identity Verification (PIV)
  • 2+ years of experience with Enterprise Architecture modeling and visualization tool in creating Enterprise Architecture Network and Infrastructure artifacts using Microsoft Visio
  • Experience in technical writing to develop Enterprise Architecture Network and Infrastructure documentation
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS Degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process 
  • Knowledge of federated identity management and security aspects
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
