Exercise Designer, Junior

Key Role:

Support the design, development, execution, and analysis of exercises, wargames, tabletop exercises, and other experiences for a range of participants from senior government and military leaders to C-Suite leaders, action officers, and corporate managers. Consult on the delivery of analytic tasks associated with these events, including shaping of objectives, crafting of wargaming constructs, authoring of scenarios, facilitation of participant discussions, overseeing logistics, and authoring of after-action reports and briefings. Assist with the application of course of action analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes and procedures to craft experiences that allow participants to test assumptions in a minimal-risk environment and gain stakeholder buy-in. This position requires travel up to 40% of the time domestically and internationally. This position is open to remote delivery from any location in the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with developing and delivering presentations in academic or professional settings

-Experience with using Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

-Ability to work independently or with small- to medium-sized teams

-Ability to lead components of larger tasks

-Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing seminars, workshops, and exercises

-Experience with cybersecurity

-Experience with developing plans and training documents

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills 

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
