Facilities and Infrastructure Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Support in managing a Marine Corp program, including project and program management, documentation of strategic objectives, communication products, process maps, and status reporting. Provide support to Strategic Basing Initiatives in coordination and support to Operations and Facilities Department staffs and leadership. Recommend assignments and priorities for foundational planning documentation including Basic Facilities Requirements (BFR) and Asset Evaluations (AEs) across the West region. Provide program management and tracking and reporting of Force Design Planning requirements across the region, including integration with R-I3B and R-I3B Working Group actions. Support regional planning initiatives within the Facilities scope, integrating recommendations for and management of the process. 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with Facilities Planning within the Department of Defense (DoD)

-Experience with project and program management, including planning, scheduling, resource leveling, and tracking and reporting

-Knowledge of existing DoD systems, including Microsoft Office, Internet Naval Facilities Assets Data Store (iNFADs), FI Web site, E-projects, and Electronic Program Guide (EPG)

-Knowledge of Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP) or Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP) and Operational Planning Team (OPT) management

-Ability to develop effective communication products, including papers, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, or Business preferred

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
