Financial Reporting Analyst, Senior

We have an opportunity for a financial analyst to join our team as we assist our client to develop sustainable business processes to support their critical financial management mission.

On our team, you’ll help project leadership to monitor cost, schedule, and performance using tools like MS Office tools and daily interactions with our clients. The real power of financial analysis comes from communication, so you’ll create SOPs, reports, status updates, and assist with recommendations for improvement to project leadership. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. This is a chance to develop your analysis skills while gaining project management experience. You Have:

  • 4 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Experience with analyzing, reconciling, and reporting on financial and budgetary data
  • Experience with preparing Federal financial statements 
  • Experience with progressively responsible roles performing and leading tasks 
  • Knowledge of the US Standard General Ledger, including US SGL, crosswalks, and federal accounting standards 
  • Ability to convey complex financial or technical concepts
  • Ability to research and evaluate facts to arrive at a logical and sound conclusion 
  • Ability to create and maintain reports using Microsoft office suite applications, including Excel and Access 
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • BA or BS degree in Accounting

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with federal financial management systems, including Momentum 
  • Ability to analyze and recommend process improvements 
  • MA or MS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CGFM or CPA certification
