Health Operations Specialist

Key Role:

Apply healthcare discipline expertise to address provider strategic and operational priorities in the pursuit of healthcare delivery transformation. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience with direct healthcare strategic and facility planning in a hospital, health system, or major healthcare provider
  • Experience working with clinicians and other front-line staff to solve complex business needs
  • Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient operational structures
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems administrative structures and functions
  • Knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulatory environment
  • Ability to develop relationships, build credibility, and influence individuals at all levels, internally and externally, as a trusted advisor and business professional
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex or large-scale projects
  • Experience leading healthcare operational teams
  • Experience developing partnerships or other cooperative relationships
  • Experience developing business cases and/or financial analyses
  • Experience working with the public sector
  • Knowledge of clinical engineering, healthcare technology, and supply chain
  • Ability to analyze and visualize data to support decision-making
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, manage competing priorities, and stay highly organized
  • Master’s degree
  • PMP Certification preferred

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 100,000 to 130,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
