Joint Military Analyst and Land Forces Advisor, Lead

Key Role:

Apply professional leadership and Joint military expertise to onsite consulting assistance stationed overseas. Demonstrate expertise in client delivery by coordinating and providing support to Combined and Joint international personnel. Apply expertise in technical writing, comprehension, guidance, and training. Lead complex tasks and promote teamwork by collaborating with onsite assigned personnel. This position requires international travel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 20+ years of experience as a US Army or Marine Corps officer in an infantry, armor, or artillery specialty at the O5 or O6 level
  • Experience as a JMPE Phase I or II Joint Qualified Officer at the Joint Staff, Combatant Command staff, Joint Force Land Component Command staff, or Joint Task Force staff levels
  • Experience as a Land Forces expert
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including developing PowerPoint briefings
  • Experience with a battalion-level command
  • Experience with Combined Arms operations
  • Knowledge of Service lessons learned process
  • Ability to apply Joint expertise in Joint operations, Joint military doctrine development, Joint readiness reporting, Joint planning, programming, budget, and execution (PPBE), Joint manpower and personnel management, Joint intelligence, or Joint Task Force operations
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with deployments and working overseas
  • Experience with foreign military personnel related to security assistance and cooperative programs
  • Ability to display proficiency in a MENA region language or dialect a plus
  • MA or MS degree preferred
  • Graduate of Senior Service School
  • Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies or equivalent a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
