Life Science Consultant, Mid

Key Role:

Apply expert understanding of public health or life science expertise to provide analytical support for the design, development, and implementation of programs and policies. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts to develop innovative solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Communicate quickly and effectively with government staff. Work independently with some guidance and may review or guide activities of more junior employees. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a public health setting
  • 2+ years of experience with federal or public health organizations and programs
  • Experience with completing individual tasks effectively
  • Experience with working in a team environment
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools, including SAS, R, Python, or Tableau
  • Ability to use verbal and written expertise to present data and research results to non-technical audiences in the form of reports, products, or deliverables, including PowerPoint briefing decks and information papers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with using data analytics tools, including SAS, R, Python, or Tableau
  • Knowledge with project management
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems
  • Ability to multitask
  • Master's degree in Public Health or Life Science

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 70,000 to 80,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
