Logistics Data Analyst, Mid

The Challenge: 

From both a personnel and systems perspective, the DoD is growing fast. As a logistics data analyst, you will provide our Navy clients with big picture strategic ideas rooted in technical and data-driven solutions that will help propel complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. You will work with a team to analyze and dig into our clients’ data-rich environment to find the pieces of their information puzzle, then develop plans that affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flow and improve asset readiness. You’ll have a direct finger on the pulse of the policies, guidelines, and procedures required to ensure quality and cost control across major program offices.

You will juggle multiple projects and timelines and connect with clients around the world to work collaboratively to improve communication, workflow, and user experience. You thrive on autonomy and are eager to grow your data science and analytics skills skills across the acquisition, program management, and logistics spectrum.

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience with data analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, and vlookups
  • Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau/Qlik
  • Experience with developing executive-level briefings
  • Ability to leverage expertise in data gathering, analytical work, and problem-solving
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice if you have:

  • Experience with Navy financial data
  • Experience with working in a self-service analytics environment
  • Experience with basic SQL query writing or advanced analysis using Excel
  • Knowledge of Tableau Server
  • Knowledge of Oracle and modern Business Intelligence systems
  • Knowledge of relational databases and entity relationships
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate organizational performance clearly based on information from disparate sources through verbal and written formats
  • Tableau Desktop Certification
