Navy Logistics and Configuration Manager, Senior

The Challenge:

As a Senior Navy Logistics and Configuration Manager, you will use your functional expertise to provide our Navy clients with big picture strategic ideas, helping them reach technical and data-driven solutions. You will help manage configuration items for multiple Navy platforms by applying sound program management practices to ever-evolving technical program baseline(s). You will ensure configuration items are correct, complete, and consistent in compliance with technical and programmatic requirements.  Have experience interacting with various Government and contractor functional areas such as systems engineering, hardware/software engineering, autonomy engineering, production and Integrated Product Teams (IPT).  Apply expertise in logistics support areas, including Human System Integration, Manpower, Personnel and Training (MPT) analysis, Configuration Management, Reliability, Maintainability, Availability (R/M/A) support, value engineering, readiness and maintenance engineering, and ship and mission module maintenance planning, as needed.  Leverage existing Configuration Management knowledge to mature program technical baselines and Acquisition Program Baseline(s) throughout the acquisition and system life cycle.  Use personal judgment which may affect the cost, schedule and quality of project.  Interact frequently with outside customers, stakeholders, and functional peer groups to gain cooperation of others, when required.  Assist mission requirements in PMS 406, Unmanned Maritime Systems where needed. Are you eager to build a team and continue your seasoned management approach across the Navy’s acquisition, program management, and logistics spectrum?  If you are up for the challenge, then join our Booz Allen team!

You Have:

-10+ years of experience with Navy Logistics

-5+ years Navy Program Configuration Management experience

-4+ years of experience with Product Support Manager functions, including acquisition support, supply support and outfitting, maintenance and readiness support, life cycle solutions, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) Program Management and Analysis, Human Systems Integration (HSI) Analysis, or Training

-Active Secret Clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Navy logistics as active duty and NAVSEA support

-Experience with program management of major ACAT programs

-Experience with the PPBE cycle

-Experience with the Navy Modernization Process (NMP)

-BA or BS degree preferred; MBA or MS degree in an analytical field a plus

-PMP or DAWIA Level II or III Certification or equivalent
