We’re looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with operationalizing models, containerization, data architecture, cloud computing platforms, and programming languages, including SQL, R, and Python.

As an advanced data scientist/researcher on our Strategic Innovation team, you’ll learn and apply innovative AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on innovation for civil agencies. You’ll grow your skills in AI and shape the future of analytics through a variety of means.

We’ll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to online courses, the latest tools and methods and opportunities to publish or present at conferences. Whether you’re using AI to impact the climate, improving government efficiency, or providing better services to the public, you’ll guide a team that serves critical missions from end to end. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • Experience with programming languages, including Python or SQL
  • Experience with common machine learning frameworks, including natural language processing, reinforcement learning models, or computer vision frameworks
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, including AWS or Azure
  • Ability to synthesize problems into production grade solutions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with computer vision
  • Knowledge of common ML frameworks, reinforcement learning
  • AWS Machine Learning Specialty Certification

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors. The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is $110,600 to $130,000.
