Marketing and Communications Program Coordinator

Key Role:

Provide graphic design expertise, including printing, and supporting the technical aspects of publication and production, using Adobe products where applicable in designing and editing, and develop, maintain content for internal and external websites. Oversee the design and produce graphics, posters, presentations, factsheets, brochures, and other communications material, including creating and updating convert PowerPoint slides as needed for briefings and maintain electronic copies in a shared drive folder. Identify innovative outreach channels, including event participation and podcast, evaluate effectiveness, along with content creation, editing messages for multiple targeted audiences, and planning production and distribution of the program's internal and external publications. Prepare responses to data calls and executive secretary taskings about communications and outreach, research, gather, and document findings for requests and liaise with client's offices. Manage and edit content for the program's website, letters, brochures, factsheets center of excellence (COE) and technologies, press releases, emails, and any other written marketing materials, review and edit office program documents as needed, develop, train, support, and maintain government client's communications plan. Coordinate, plan, and manage external events, including organizing, preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and providing on-site 'booth' support. Maintain calendar of events, including schedule and arrange meetings and showcases locally and offsite, schedule appropriate logistics including virtual teleconference and teleconferences.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with strategic communications, graphic design, and web content management

-Experience with developing website content and marketing materials, including factsheets, PowerPoint presentations, press releases, and social media campaigns for multiple targeted audiences

-Experience with graphic design, web content management, and analytics applications, including Drupal, Adobe Photoshop, In-design, Illustrator, Connect, Quid, Tableau, and Google Analytics

-Experience with event planning

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing stakeholder outreach

-Experience with providing reports on Return on investment (ROI), web and social media analytics and metrics

-Experience with Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Possession of excellent visual and written communications skills, including design, writing, and editing

-MA or MS degree in Strategic Communications, Graphics Design, Web Development
