Key Role:

Apply payer healthcare disciplines and expertise to address payer strategic and operational priorities. Apply subject matter expertise with Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) quality measurement, analytics, and improvement. Leverage extensive understanding of existing federal health processes and data flows to accomplish tasks specific to Medicaid and CHIP quality measurement. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts as well as contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
• Experience with Medicaid program implementation efforts and state Medicaid landscape
• Experience with developing or delivering technical assistance for Federal Medicaid programs
• Experience with Medicaid data sets and systems, including Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS), waivers, or Medicaid and CHIP Business Information System (MACBIS)
• Experience supporting Medicaid programs in the Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
• Knowledge of existing Medicaid quality measurement programs and initiatives
• Knowledge of Medicaid programs
• BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience building relationships within federal health agencies
• Ability to translate quantitative data into narratives
